The Activity Hub is a young and exciting part of the company that provides a range of activities for the guests and residents including water sports hire and instruction, bicycle hire, yoga, soft play and personal training.
We are searching for enthusiastic team members to assist with cycle and water sports rental, whilst providing excellent customer service via email, face-to-face and over the phone. You will be an enthusiastic team player conscious of promoting the Activity Hubs services.

This is a casual position during our high season months throughout the Easter and Summer holidays, hours can vary to suit you.
Rental Assistant and Customer Care:
- Ensuring that customers are given diligent safety briefings before their hire period
- Answering enquiries from guests about appropriate equipment for them
- Assisting the cycle mechanic in the upkeep of a fleet of hire bikes
- Ensuring that all equipment is safe and tidy after use and that all assets are safely secured at the end of day
- Carrying out regular safety checks on the water sports equipment
- Taking bookings both online and over the phone for sessions and rental
- Ad-hoc duties as directed by your Manager
Person Specification
- Educated to GCSE standard
- Previous customer service experience
- First Aid certificate (desirable)
- Enjoys working within a team, working inclusively and collaboratively
- First class customer service skills with a confident and personable
- Knowledgeable and passionate about the outdoor environment
- Self-Motivated
- Willingness to learn new skills
- A fun and friendly outlook to customer service
- Confident building relationships with colleges and clients
- Communicate effectively over the radio and face to face with all team members and other departments
