Activities Hub Administrator – Lower Mill Estate

The Activity Hub (part of Habitat First Group) and is a young and exciting company who provide a range of activities for the guests and residents including water sports hire and instruction, bicycle hire, yoga, soft play and personal training.
Location Lower Mill Estate – Cirencester
Reporting to Activities Hub Manager
Salary Up to £23,000 p/a
Hours 40 hours per week to include some weekends

What we are looking for:

Activity Hub are excited to offer this varied and fulfilling position as an administrator to assist the Activities Manager in the running of a busy and thriving activities department. The role will be primarily admin focused, however there will be plenty of opportunity to get stuck into face-to-face customer service through the busy summer months.  

The ideal candidate will be experience in high level customer service and administration, be willing to work flexibly and grow with the company.

Roles and responsibilities:

Assist the Activities Manager in the administration and day to day administration and running of the Activity Hub at the Lower Mill Estate, as well as the administration for Silverlake in Dorset.  

  • Logging daily financial transaction, working closely with the accounts team to ensure the smooth finance related administration 
  • Managing the Inbox dealing with residents, guests and suppliers queries 
  • Advising customers about the different options available to them onsite 
  • Creating and moving bookings on the activity hub booking system ensuring a smooth customer experience 
  • Assisting customers in the Activity hub and ensuring a high level of service is delivered to our high-end clients 
  • Assisting in the implementation of a new booking system including uploading the inventory of equipment and working with the development team during the transfer 
  • Working alongside the reservations teams to ensure that all future guests are given the correct information 

Required skills and expertise:

  • Experience in booking systems and general IT skills 
  • Knowledge of database management  
  • Expertise managing an inbox in a professional capacity. 
  • Experience dealing with high-net-worth clients 
  • Customer service experience 
  • Competence in an outdoor environment with the ability to communicate about various activities

Desirable skills and experience: 

  • Proficiency in coaching outdoor pursuits or YOGA 
  • Experience working in the holiday industry
