Activities Assistant

Habitat First Group owns three luxury estates, creating holiday home communities that are founded on the principle of a deep love for Mother Nature and sustainability.

We are seeking an Activities Assistant to join our friendly Activity Hub team at Lower Mill Estate. This can either be a permanent, zero-hour basis to include weekend working and increased hours during school holidays or on a casual basis over the summer and other peak seasons throughout the year.

Hours will be worked between 9.30am - 4.30pm, with a rota scheduled up to a month in advance.
Location Lower Mill Estate - Cirencester
Reporting to Activity Hub Manager
Salary £10 - £12.21 per hour
Hours Zero hour contract as per a rota

What you’ll be doing:

  • Ensuring that customers are given diligent safety briefings before their hire period.
  • Answering inquiries from guests about appropriate equipment for them.
  • Ensuring that all equipment is safe and tidy after use and that all assets are safely secured at the end of the day.
  • Carrying out regular safety checks on the water sports equipment/bikes.
  • Taking bookings both online and over the phone for sessions and rentals.
  • Ad-hoc duties as directed by your manager.

We’d love you to have:

  • Knowledge and experience in outdoor pursuits (relevant qualifications are a bonus!)
  • First Aid certificate desirable
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • A fun and friendly outlook
