Cook

We are seeking a Cook to work primarily in our catering container, preparing lunch for our team members onsite.

There may be additional hours available for you to work at our snack bar, Hurricane Terrace, serving light lunches and drinks to our guests and homeowners.

Reporting to Hurricane Terrace Manager
Salary £11.44 per hour + tronc
Hours This is a permanent, zero-hour position, with core hours of 9am to 3pm. There may be additional hours available to work in our Hurricane Terrace snack bar, which is open throughout the day, evenings and at weekends.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Preparing, cooking and serving lunch and snacks to our team members from our catering container
  • Preparing and serving lunch to our guests and homeowners at Hurricane Terrace
  • Assisting in stock ordering and liaising with suppliers
  • Ensuring all kitchen procedures relating to food hygiene, routine cleaning and health and safety are adhered to.
  • Providing excellent customer service and a demonstrable passion for hospitality

We’d love you to have:

  • Knowledge of kitchen health and safety regulations
  • Confidence to carry out duties as a lone worker with minimal supervision
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food preparation and presentation
