Front of House Team Member – Hurricane Terrace Alfresco Bar

The Hurricane Terrace bar, alfresco Pizza oven and Yurt is a unique offering to our property owners and guests overlooking the beautiful Silverlake Estate.
We are looking for a permanent zero-hour Front of House Team Member to deliver a first class service to our guests at the Hurricane Terrace alfresco terrace snack bar and pizza shack.

Reporting to Hurricane Terrace Manager
Salary from £10.42 per hour + tips
Hours This is a permanent, zero-hour role. You will be available to work on Mondays and Fridays, with some weekend and evening availability also required. Contract will begin in September 2023.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in the set-up and maintenance of all restaurant service areas
  • Greet guests to the bar terrace ensuring they are made to feel welcome, taking orders promptly and accurately.
  • Respond to enquiries made in person or over the phone in a friendly and professional manner
  • Serve meals / drinks and clear tables
  • Notify the Manager or his/her deputy where stocks/supplies are low
  • Ensure that all duties are carried out in accordance with food hygiene regulations
  • Manage all payment transactions in accordance with the Restaurant’s policies and procedures, handling all transactions with diligence, honesty and integrity
  • Support colleagues at peak times and undertake any operational duties which might be reasonably required to ensure customer expectations are met
