Marketing Manager

We are seeking an inspiring Marketing Manager to join our growing Marketing team on a full-time permanent basis. You will be part of a busy team who work across multiple brands promoting sales, rentals and onsite experience for our holiday home communities in the South West. As a hybrid role, you will spend a minimum of three days a week based at Lower Mill Estate and two days a month based at Silverlake, Dorset.

This is an exciting new position for the team, so we need someone who is comfortable to shape and build the department, working closely with the Marketing Director. Management, digital experience and organisational skills are key, as you will be managing the day-to-day digital marketing activities and priorities of the team, whilst also working with consultants and external agencies.

Salary £35,000 - £40,000
Hours 35 hours per week 9.00 am - 5.00 pm

You will need to have a proven eye for editorial and brand detail, ensuring consistency across the Lower Mill Estate, Silverlake and Habitat First Group brands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Devising marketing plans alongside the Marketing Director for a range of brands across a variety of marketing channels, with a particular emphasis on digital, monitoring their success and income generation
  • Developing digital marketing projects where required. This could include social adverts, programmatic ads and web development
  • Overseeing a small team – distributing and overseeing workloads, using Trello as a project management tool and providing support to team members
  • Proofing and editing marketing material across the group, including news stories, social posts, web content, brochures and more
  • Managing our marketing and design request system, prioritising jobs that will deliver the most return on investment to the company
  • Developing strong relationships across departments to understand and advise on their marketing requirements and strategies to maximise their revenue and exposure to guests and property owners
  • Developing and maintaining fantastic stakeholder relationships with suppliers, consultants and agencies
  • Working alongside the Director to form the group wide short, medium and long term strategy
  • Planning and managing marketing events such as ecology engagement events and influencer visits
  • Ensuring websites for the group are kept up to date
  • Follow and identify new trends and monitor others in our field
  • Representing the Marketing department in key work-planning meetings
  • Producing reports as required on key marketing activity
  • Budget control for key areas of responsibility
